Well, technically, you don’t NEED to market your podcast, especially if you’re just doing it as a hobby.  However, if you want to actively grow your audience and get to the point where you can start charging for in-episode ad reads and sponsorships, that’s all based on how many people listen to your podcast.

Marketing your podcast is the best way to help attract an audience of regular listeners.  But the problem is that most podcasters have no idea how to market their shows!  And those that do sometimes don’t want to invest the time and money to do it properly.

Taking shorter clips from your podcast episode and sharing them across social media is the primary form of podcast marketing, and probably the easiest (and most effective) thing you can do to help get your podcast discovered.

We offer a “clipping service” where we deliver up to 5 short clips per podcast episode.  These clips are in vertical video format and are also subtitled to allow for the maximum flexibility among social media platforms.

You can share these clips across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and more.  These clips are up to 60 seconds in length, but can be made longer on request depending on the platform you wish to publish them on.

We offer a-la cart clip services for $150.  But if you’re recording a regular podcast and want clips from every episode, contact us and we can put together a custom clipping package for you on a monthly basis that will fit your needs and budget!

For our basic clipping package, we offer 5 clips per podcast episode.  We find that this gives podcasters enough content to publish one short clip a day Monday through Friday (or whatever publishing schedule you follow).  Please note that these clips are based on the editor’s discretion as to what is a highlight from the episode.

When we talk about cross-posting and content repurposing, what we are referring to is taking your long-form podcast and repurposing it for other platforms.  This can be in the form of republishing the whole podcast episode, or taking clips and highlights from an episode and publishing them across multiple social media platforms.

For instance, you can take a ten minute clip from your hour long podcast episode and publish it to YouTube.  You can turn it into vertical video format and publish it to Instagram or TikTok.  Or you can publish to multiple platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, AND YouTube.

But as you are probably aware, it takes a great deal of time and effort to not only repurpose your content, but also publish it to multiple platforms.  But that’s where we come in!  The good news is that we can repurpose and cross-publish your content for you, so you don’t have to worry about it.

Not everyone is good at social media, and beyond that, not everyone is inclined to GET good.  But unfortunately, Social Media is the means by which most people consume content nowadays.  So if your podcast isn’t represented on social media, you will have a hard time building an audience.

The social media landscape is constantly changing and evolving.  New platforms are springing up all the time.  And to have a presence on all of them can indeed get overwhelming quickly.

Social Media management is where we manage all your social media accounts so you don’t have to.  This means crafting, scheduling, and publishing posts to all your social media platforms to ensure you get exposure on them.

Social Media Engagement is where you “engage” with people who reply to the content you post.  Whether this be in replies, reposts, or direct messages, there is no better way to convert followers into listeners than to engage with them when they speak to you.

However, this can get overwhelming fast, especially if you publish to more than one social media platform.  And if you ignore the engagement from your followers, you risk making them think you don’t care about them, and then they will move on and never bother following your podcast!

Our Social Media Engagement package has a member of our team reply to those who engage with you, as well as answer direct messages.  And if there is something specific your audience wants to know, we’ll reach out and alert you of what you should respond to personally.

Show Booking is where we get you guests appearances on other podcasts.  We essentially act as your “agents” and contact other, similar podcasts to yours on your behalf and negotiate an appearance.

Guesting on other people’s podcasts can be really beneficial because you and your show will get exposed to new audiences that have already expressed interests in topics and podcasts that are similar to yours.  In fact, it could be argued that there is no better way to grow a loyal following than to get in front of another podcaster’s audience!

Unfortunately, most podcasters don’t have the time or inclination to reach out to other podcasts and try to book an appearance.  After all, it can be a lot of work!  But we take care of all that for you, so that all you have to do is show up at the scheduled time!
