Technology today is so affordable and prevalent, many people may be wondering – why should I spend money to rent out a recording studio when I could just record a podcast myself?
And the truth of the matter is that no one NEEDS to rent time at a professional recording studio in order to make a podcast. At the bare minimum, all you really need is a cell phone with an audio recording app or camera to record a podcast. In fact, the barrier of entry to podcasting is so low, pretty much anyone with ANY type of recording device – cell phone, tablet, computer, etc. – can easily make a podcast.
But if you want to play with the big boys and produce a podcast on a professional level, THAT’S where a good recording studio can come into play.
